Getting Started

Q: I’m trying to schedule a consultation call for today, but it’s not letting me and says to call the office. Why is that?

A: Our system requires consultation calls to be scheduled at least 24 hours in advance to accommodate our therapists’ schedules. Please select a time and date that is at least one day ahead. 

Q: I don’t see any availability for consultation calls. What should I do?

A: If you do not see any available consultation times, please make sure you have selected “New Client” when scheduling. Consultation calls are reserved specifically for new clients, and availability may not appear if another option is selected.

Q: Are the consultation appointments in person or over the phone?

A: Consultation appointments are conducted over the phone. These free 15-minute calls give you a chance to share what you’re looking for in therapy, get matched with a therapist who fits your needs, schedule your first session, and receive any necessary paperwork.

Q: What if I need to reschedule or cancel my free 15-minute consultation call?

A: We understand that schedules can shift. If you need to reschedule or cancel your consultation, we ask that you let us know as soon as possible so we can offer that time to someone else.

Appointments & Sessions

Q: What if I need to reschedule or cancel my first appointment with my therapist?

A: We understand that life happens and plans can change. If you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment, we ask for at least 48 hours’ notice to avoid a late cancellation fee.

Q: What is your cancellation policy?

A: We ask for at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. This helps us honor our therapists’ time and offer that space to others. Late cancellations may incur a fee.

Q: If I scheduled a couples consultation call, do both my partner and I need to be on the call?

A: It’s okay if only one partner joins the consultation call. However, for the first scheduled therapy session, both partners are asked to be present.

Q: If I scheduled a session for my child, or my child is scheduling for themselves, do both of us need to be present for the consultation call?

A: We typically ask that at least one parent or legal guardian join the initial consultation. Depending on your child’s age and comfort level, we may also include them for part of the call so we can begin building connection and ensure the right fit for everyone involved.

Payment & Insurance

Q: What are your rates? Do you accept insurance?

A: We are an out-of-network provider, and rates vary depending on the therapist and service. We can provide a superbill for potential reimbursement through your insurance. We also accept CareCredit as an option to support accessibility and flexibility in your care.
